Pendekatan Konseling Pastoral Berdasarkan Yesaya 5 terhadap Pecandu Minuman Keras: Telaah Biblika dan Praktik Pastoral

Abstrak

Alcohol addiction carries fatal health consequences and escalates crime rates and deviant behaviors. Therefore, spiritual leaders must collaborate to address this issue. This study proposes a pastoral counseling model based on Isaiah 5:11 to support alcoholics within congregations and the broader community. Utilizing a qualitative approach with a literature review of the Bible, spiritual texts, and academic journals, the findings indicate that a counseling and pastoral care model incorporating guidance, empowerment, and therapeutic interventions (such as aversion, holistic, and group therapy) combined with biblical teachings, is effective in managing alcohol addiction.
