Reinterpretasi 2 Timotius 3:16: Menangani Penyimpangan Penggunaan Teks Alkitab dalam Kehidupan Orang Percaya

Abstrak
Penyalahgunaan teks Alkitab, termasuk 2 Timotius 3:16, sering terjadi dalam kehidupan orang percaya, baik secara pribadi maupun komunitas, yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman hermeneutik dan konteks asli teks. Fenomena ini berdampak pada munculnya interpretasi yang keliru dan penerapan Firman Tuhan yang tidak sesuai dengan maksud Rasul Paulus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali makna asli 2 Timotius 3:16 dan menawarkan panduan penerapannya yang bertanggung jawab. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis hermeneutik kualitatif berbasis kajian literatur dan observasi fenomena, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa teks ini berfungsi sebagai pedoman untuk pengajaran, teguran, perbaikan, dan pelatihan dalam kebenaran. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan prinsip hermeneutik yang benar dapat mengembalikan otoritas dan relevansi Alkitab dalam membimbing kehidupan orang percaya. Sebagai rekomendasi, gereja perlu memperkuat pendidikan hermeneutik untuk mendorong pemahaman dan penerapan Alkitab yang sesuai dengan maksud ilahi.Referensi
